Courtney Bridges is a trained scientist who loves to explore the globe and moonlight as a visual artist. Her artistry hatched early in life but blossomed through the task of visually conveying complex concepts. The most common skill utilized across her professional disciplines. Her artistry was honed by achieving an Associates Degree in Visual Design, a process that refined her attention to detail and expanded her understanding of historical art.
The concept weaved within all of Courtney’s art comes from the moments experienced and influenced by her particular embodiment of life. Like any other organism, this single life is a piece of the essence and drive behind a bigger system that moves the universe forward. Her life’s work is a contribution to the benevolent side. The future intention of her work is to facilitate other’s creativity through teamwork and environmental design, to produce small to large scaled creations, to be perceived by the masses, to spread the message of peace and a positive state of mental well being. Her art mirrors the quixotic lens that, as adults, we rarely look through unless we are physically intoxicated, mentally askew or inhibited from maturing.
Her artistic style is a reminder that even though society sees an adult, the universe constantly reminds her that she is its child. An embodiment of Socrates’ hailed quote, “I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing and that is that I know nothing.”
